She has stated that her most awkward interview was with Elizabeth Taylor many years ago. Taylor specifically asked Oprah not to ask about her numerous husbands. When Oprah did, Taylor wasn't too happy.

Yes actually Oprah will not interview political contenders.... she has only broken that rule once.
She made it known when she interviewed barrack Obama that she was making an exception because he had an interesting life aside from his politics and she would focus only on his personal story and not where he stands on the issues.
Barrack Obama is a democrat from Illinois and it raised many eyebrows when Oprah broke her code of guests to have him on the show when he was running for office... I guess for some reason, people actually thought she might have been Republican... LOL

Kathy Griffin probably. Everyone has her banned cause she always makes rude comments about other celebs.
And i think her most awkward interview of all time was the Tom Cruise thing where he jumped on her couch. I'd be scared for my life if I had some crazy dude doing that while I was trying to conduct an interview!

The only people that Oprah will not allow on her show are O.J. (if he did it) Simpson, and Charles ( I never killed anyone, man) Manson. I would like to see her interview the Burger King and Jar Jar, that would be aces !

When she was with the Daili Lama she seemed to be quiet out of touch with reality. He was very kind to her, but you could see she was only used to dealing with clebrity type interviews. She tried to speak as if she knew the answers to his questions, which he himself did not know yet. It made her seem very phoney. (It appeared in O magazine in edited form) . He expressed diappointment with her editing job in his book On forgiveness.
