Sounds perfectly normal to me. If baby is still active thats a good sign. You don't say whether the pain is severe (ie sharp, stabbing, period-pain like) or just mild twinges, but as a rule of thumb any severe or sudden pains in pregnancy are not a good sign and should be checked out by your doctor/midwife. Otherwise, general mild soreness and ligament pain is entirely normal and is a sign that your baby is growing well.

Your fine. Your lower abdomen is going to hurt because of the stretching. I am 23 right now with my 4th baby and I have had so many different pains this time around, its crazy. I couldnt walk for a few days because my hips were in complete horrible pain. So dont worry. Your going to get all sorts of different feelings the whole time. If you get too concerned be sure and call the dr or go to the ER. Every pregnant woman is paranoid about something. Im extemely paranoid about things with this pregnancy.

It's just your ligaments in your tummy area stretching, I forget what they call them, But I thought i was going to die when those pains started.. The best thing to do is stand up slowly so it doesn't hit you hard and make you double over, believe me I got plenty of weird looks when that happened to me. And be careful when you change positions in bed go very slow, and try to stretch a little that may help it along.. Hope that helps, and good luck and congrats on the new baby!!

I started having the same problem, and I am still dealing with it. Lower abdomen and pelvic area and in the legs? Call your doctor to make sure. It could also be a sign of a bladder/kidney infection. For me he said that it was round ligament pain and that there wasn't much he could do about it. He suggested a maternity brace that you can get in any maternity store and he also a heating pad set to low for the lower abdomen, not higher where the baby is at, warm baths and small amounts of tylenol. Try laying on your left side with your leg up over a pillow, it helps with the pain.

I had this same pain when i was pregnant with my daughter. It could be your ciotic nerve ( not sure of spelling) It causes sharp pains in your back. Try laying on a different side and see if you can get your baby to move. Once the baby is off the nerve it wont hurt anymore.

I had the same thing and it wound up being something they called round ligament pain -- it finally went away. But, I would check with the doctor - they can do an ultrasound to make sure baby is okay. In the meantime, I did a heating pad on my legs and kept it by the bed and that seemed to help. But, check with the dr. and make sure..its probably nothing serious, but you just want to make sure.

You could have a bladder infection. It is quite common for a pregnant women to be suseptable to a bladder infections and the symptoms that you listed are symptoms of a bladder infection (especially if the pain is in your lower back). When I had my bladder infection, I had both of those symptoms, yet other symptoms were not present. Call your doctor and get an antibiodic.

I had cramps throughout my entire pregnancy on and off. Try drinking more liquids and sit on a pillow. My son moved around a lot and my butbone hurt a lot too.you know, that nerve, dont remember how to spell it LOL. If it keeps up maybe ask the doc, but if it goes away when you stand up just sit different.hope this helps

I am not trying to scare you at all. I unfortunately went into labor at 22 weeks and delivered at 23.3 weeks. Personally, I would have my doc check me to make sure that everything is OK. More than likely it is, but I would rather be over cautious than not enough! Good luck! Children are so precious!

I'd say this is normal if it goes away after awhile. You are going to start feeling all kinds of strange things. I would suggest you talk to your doctor if you have any questions. I told my doc everything that I was experiencing when I had my appointment just for the piece of mind. And sure enough, she would nod her head and say "uh-huh, that's normal". Good luck!
