okay so my aunt visited last week and she gave me this really gorgeous mini-notebook, decoupaged with candy wrappers and stuff, and its really pretty..
only problem is, i dunno what i should do with it.
it's too pretty to be a simple old notebook for science class, but then again it has lines so it cant be my sketchbook (i'm an artist).
what should i do with it?
**and i know this is one of the stupider questions you've ever seen, but please don;t comment on that.

a diary's a nice idea.
but i never really last....

I always have this problem. I am dead serious!
If it is as pretty as you say it is, I would wait and leave it out on your dresser or something. When the time was right, you would have the perfect use for it. Or, I would write down some good quotes that I have collected. A pretty book filled with pretty quotes. Good luck!

I never knew what to do with things like that b/c it is so pretty you hate to even write in it! And I agree-sounds too good for a common subject that will be full in a few weeks.
Could you use it like a diary? Or a book of poetry? Maybe write in it sayings that you like, or special events in your life?

Since you have ruled out using it for a diary, perhaps you could use it for making lists of things to do with it. Or books you want to read, or web sites you want to visit.

and second, make it a diary? or an observation notebook? or maybe even fill it with quotes that you hear and really like!

It can be a mini scarp book in which you can place photos of your friends and write little notes about what happened when a photo was taken.
