The recently-deceased Gerald Levert was a musically gifted. He was raised as a Jehovah's Witness and respected the religion, but he did not practice the faith himself.

Neither. I remember in a interview once he said that he had studied the bible with Jehovah's Witnesses but he was not a baptized as one. I heard his parents were baptist.
