Im in a family secret santa drawing and i got my 13 year old cousin. The kid gets just about anything he could want or need. But this pool is a 20$ limit. I want to get him something unique that will be useful to him that he wont look at and say this is lame. He is into football, boy scouts and camping. But like i said he has everything he would need for those things. Anyone have any suggestions?

Pick out a cool knife in a tin. you know, like a collectore's thing. boys like knives and never can have too many. especially scouts. pick one with a really cool design on the handle.

With a $20 limit, I would suggest an "accessory" for something he already has.

Maybe a new LED flashlight or lantern, or maybe a, roll up "mattress" pad for camping. Something he could use WITH what he has.

If he shoots a gun, a couple of boxes of ammunition and some targets, etc. (BoyScouts still have a marksmanship badge I believe.) Does he fish; how about a selection of flies or lures, whichever would be appropriate.

It is very hard to find anything REALLY unique for $20 anymore!

Hope this helped.

If I were you I would get him a 20 dollar gift certificate to Dunhams or some other sporting good store! It seems like he likes to be outside so if there was anything he did need he could use that gift card for that! He could buy more stuff for football or stuff for camping outside! I hope I helped some what! Have a Merry Christmas!

if he likes books: the curious incident of the dog in the nightime (btw has strong lang) . This is a great book as it from the point of view of a 15 year old boy with a mental disease . It's really funny a must buy. If he likes puzzles: Nancy drew (btw it is a video game, but its challenging and great for amateur detectives) Also if he lives puzzles buy him mensa puzzles or a good board game like scrabble and chess. In my opinion, the best perfect gift is a gift card at one of his favourite store so that he can choose his own stuff but it's thanks to you. Hope that helps.

Obvious answer is a 13 year old girl.

There is a hand held electronic game called 20 questions that is very popular.
Go into an electronic store and ask one of the floor clerks to recommend something.
CD? DVD? XBOX game?
Idog (electronic music thingy on sale at Target)
Carton of smokes..oops sorry.

That's tough... I think that maybe if he has playstation or game boy advance that would be good. Another suggestion would be a gift card/certificate to a electronics store or a sports goods store.

You might want to get him some Topps football trading cards. You can get them at Wal Mart for around $20. Or a gift card to his favorite sporting goods store so he can pick out whatever he wants!

I say give him the $20 and be done or buy him a cheap little pocket knife. At the same time if he's into camping fet him a lantern ro a sleeping bag orsomething useful. A descent pair of socks won't hurt.
