Following a LOT of advice, I purchased Sims 2 today!
After going through the tutorial and playing it for all of 15 minutes, Im really not liking the game much...
Is there anyone else out there who didnt like the game either!?!? Seems too boring and slow!!!!
Risk II seemed MUCH more fun...

I do not like Sims and Sims2 games.
I am the only one in my family who does not like those games.

It all depends on your taste; personally I don't like The Sims games much, and I'm more into action games like Halo or Perfect Dark. Some people I know love The Sims.

when i started playing it was boring, but addicting, i didn't like it but i kept on playing it, eventually i left the tutorial, and started making families and building houses it wa then that the game became fun, my suggestion, as soon as you fisish the tutorial, make a family and build a house, the game will magically become fun. If that doesn't work, go to the thesims website and go to the family exchange, download a very rich family, evict them from their house, demolish their house, and then move em into a property and build them a new houe, a little experience is needed for this, but it is VERY enjoyable. yeah, i didn't really like the sims 2. that type of game seems really boring and pointless to me, mostly because there's no goal. however, if they would just add english instead of whatever language the sims speak in now, it would be more fun.

The game is different than the others, I had fun with it, even beat it 100% complete. Takes time to understand, need to make lots of friends in game to beat it.

I believe that you may be the only person on earth who does not like the sims 2 who has played it....maybe you should play longer and use the fast foreward button it gets addicting...

Its hard to not like sims 2. it also gets better when you download objects

No!! It's the most awesome game in the world! If you just play with it, it really fun! Make yourself and you future spouse and family, make the peolple in your life tat just make you sooo mad and kill them(that fun!), and download stuff off the internet to make it more fun. modthesims2.com,sims2.com and a lot more! Have fun!
