Halo 3 will not come out for the regular xbox because the programs used are too advanced for the regular Xbox to handle.
They would have to "dumb down" the program, and give an inferior product, OR.. they could keep seeling it for the 360, and make people BUY a 360 to play it.
Heck, They're already planning to release Halo 2 multiplayer maps on Live in a few months from now, and the new maps will ONLY work on the 360.
Plus the Halo 3 Multiplayer Beta Demo coming out around the same time, is also a 360-only program.. Seems to ME like that was a missed oppourtunity for Microsoft though.. if they did the demo for the regular Xbox, they'd get more folks interested, and more folks might buy the 360 to be able to play the finished version.
Anyways.. no. It will never be availible on ANYTHING except the 360, and in a few years, perhaps it'll be availible for PC, Like they're doing for Halo 2 in a few months. (Halo 2 vista for PC)

No. Seldom are games written for older consoles. Besides Microsoft needs to push it's xBox only games to try to get up near Sony's PlayStation popularity. Because of Halo 1 and 2 they jumped pretty high but still way behind Sony. With Gears of War and Halo-3 Microsoft hopes to come even closer with the 360.

No, it quite is in basic terms for 360. They stoped making xbox video games while the 360 got here out. you will the two could get a 360 or wait anothe 2 to 3 years while it comes out on computer and by making use of then you actual'll could purchase a clean laptop to play it.

No of course not, Halo 3 will be too powerful for the original Xbox to handle since it will be using a lot of extream lighting and graphics.. etc etc..
Plus is this going to be the main profit of Xbox 360 since Gears of War, if this was going to be made for the original Xbox, there wouldn't be much point to buy the 360.
