In U.S.A, is guinea pig more expensive or white mouse?

Would you buy the kind of white mouse used in lecture in the U.S in any pet store?

A guinea pig will cost $15-20 at most pet stores, which is slightly overpriced, but kept that way so that people will be discouraged from buying THEM for feeder animals! Mice will usually go for about $5-10. Mice are cheaper to care for, require less space, and have larger litters, so it makes sense that they're cheaper.

As for the type of mice used in "lecture," I'm assuming you mean the kind used for scientific lab experiements, etc? Sure, any "white" pet store mouse is going to carry the same basic genetic makeup as lab mice, unless you need a mouse with specially bred characteristics, I suppose. Hope that helps!
