I forgot the show's name, but i believe it comes on TLC. The couple has 21 kids and there still having more. What do you think about this?

It makes it seem like women are only used for making babies.

The show is on TLC and it is Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. Hohwever they only have 16 children as of October 2006. I think if you have the time and energy for that many children and you have the means to take care of them and make sure they each feel wanted it doesn't matter the number of kids you have. From what Ive seen on television they have a huge house, all the kids are well fed and have everything they need including the love and support from their family and many others. I don't think 16 kids is for me but hey if thats what they want!

No it does not make it seem like women are only here for babies. This isn't China where there's some kind of rule against having more than one child. So what, it was their choice as a married couple to have 21 children. If you can, and you want to, then do it.

I feel really bad for the kids because I know that a couple could not care properly for 21 kids! Even if they find a way to do it financially, there is no way they could pay enough attention to each child that is needed for them!

Just seeing "21 kids" makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time. Poor parents and kids, they will never be a normal family!

It doesn't matter how many kids someone has as long as they can provide for them in every way, financial, and especially with love, attention, and affection. If they can do it, GREAT, because children are great!
