I have a friend who says she's worried she might have had a misscarriage because she's never had so many blood clots come out.

that is possible. Most women who have miscarriages never knew they were pregnant to start with. It happens more often than people think.

Some women have heavy periods with a lot of clotting, she may need a D & C to kinda clean things out, Good Luck

Every month a female sloughs off the lining of the Uterus. EVERY MONTH. So some months the lining can be thicker than others, therefore you will pass clots. For twenty five years I always did. So I wouldn't get overly concerned.

It is normal for clots to come out while you are on your period. She has nothing to worry about.

Yes, many women pass clots during their periods.

#1 if she's pregnant, then she shouldn't have her period. it happens, but she needs to go to her doctor.
