if our lives are mapped out and we are suppose to do things before we actually do them...well my real question is..if you are destined to time travel at a certain point in your life when you travel back in time when you reach that point again the original point (where you time traveled) well are you destined to travel back again and agin and so then you would be stuck in that one part of time??

think of life like a cartoon. A series of different images that when flipped produce action. The cartoon character moves. Well life may be like that. Every moment is a snapshot of time. There trillions of you, one for every moment ever. So no, if you time traveled you would not have to keep going forward in time but one of you would. The problem here is, once you go home you will have to compete with yourself for your life. The only way to escape this is to arrive a few seconds ahead of the time you left so you are not forced to spend eternity competing with yourself for chicks and jobs.

How would anyone know if our life's are mapped out, and if they are and you decided to not do something because you want to change your destiny, is that also part of the map? was the change you made suppose to be made, then in fact not changing anything at all because you did what your pre-destined life said you would?. On the time travel thing... no.

You ask two questions, essentially:

1. Is time travel possible?
Answer: Yes, but for some reason you can only travel back to June 17, 1975. No one knows why.

2. Is your life mapped out?
Answer: Yes, and if you are a member of AAA, you can get a copy of the map. This is available to premium members only.

Did you ever watch the Twilight Zone? Seriously there are many series covering just what you are describing. The series of events that Rod Serling wrote about were ecstatically interesting. Or there are some sites on line through Science that have some wild theories.
Some of these sites carry logical solutions and even describe a logical solution for our future to break through some time barrier involving the global warming, worm holes and the Japanese Current. Odd but exciting.

Good enough question. Time travel? the way I see it now is , with the present abilities of travel. and the minds ability to think it so , it's possible I suppose. I mean , we can think ourselves to be just about anywhere as long as we have certain information on the possibilities. at least that's what I think at this moment.

You cannot time travel.

If you could, wouldn't you think time travelers would be visiting us now? And they would have changed something.

Our life isn't mapped out. Anything can spontaneously come at us. It is unexpected. There isn't somebody who does the mapping out for us.

It does not make common sense to think our lives are mapped out or that time travel exists. Without proof, its just fanciful thinking.

I don't think anyone teaches any classes on the theory of time travel.

Sure, time is relative-- when you're traveling light speed, even better. But I don't know how conceiveable that impossible speed really is.

Godel's version is kind of neat, even if a metaphysical lark.

I think you go back in time, and never forward with the theories we have. So you're not fated into that "La Jetee" scenario.

time goes in way way forward , so as Einstein if he were right , you can only go forward , because what happened already happened if you went back there will be 2 of you , 2 same energies that means one of you may die , or if you killed yourself , that means you wont be alive to go back to kill yourself , so welcome to the infinity circle ,
You can go forward in time never back ,
and our lives is somehow mapped Little , you can still take your major decisions , but the ones that already made are like
your name , parents , family , your country
but you make all the things left
