if you go to Virgin, HMV, Woolies, Music Zone, etc, go to the dvd section and look for the following:-

Bad Girls ( some lesbian story lines)

Better Than Chocolate
Queer As Folk (american version has lesbian story lines)

Fingersmith, tipping the velvet, better than chocolate, the L word series,boys dont cry, if these walls could talk 1 and 2, a village affair, the killing of sister george, and inescapable to name but a few. Try going on the website: www.divamag.co.uk This is a good place for finding films with a lesbian storyline.
In my opinion, lesbian films are still in their infancy. There are loads of films for gay men around, but not really for lesbians. It is a matter of hunting for the gems.

The only ones i know at the moment were , the recent "Touching the Velvet,and "oranges are not the Only Fruit "broadcast some years ago,suggest you go to search ,and see what it comes up with,i think it was a BBC production.Check out www.imdb.com type in o,a,n,t,o,f. It gives you the cast etc shown 1990 in 3 episodes.

Sugar rush is a great tv series, about a teenage girl confused about her sexuality, then decides shes a lesbian. Already had 2 or 3 series in uk, was shown on ch4 and E4, i think there is gonna be another series, but you can get the others on dvd i think, i really recommend sugar rush, great storylines.

Il be honest i havent seen that many lesbian films that i find any good, Besides Tipping the velet .. was truely amazing! Diva mag is a great place to shop for films and books for Bi/Lesbians.

i love velvet goldmine and hedwig and the angry inch.
Velvet goldmine has my fav actor in it and is based on my favorite singers! Velvet goldmine and Hedwig are gay films though. You should watch The Incredibley True Story of Two Girls In Love, thats a good lesbian film.
