Yes. Administrators on Windows XP can remove passwords on any XP account without having to use the password you put on yoru account. So yes they can access anything on your computer that you can, there is no way to block an administrator from anything on your computer, so dont put anythign on there you wouldnt want them to see. But I also want to add that anything else that requires a password such as a messenger service cannot be accessed unless you have automatic login or a password remembering box checked.

Only if they know your yahoo id and password, also make sure to sign out of all yahoo services everytime to log off. It doesn't matter if you are password protected on the computer or not, an admin has all access

In order to access your IM list, they would have to have your IM ID and password. They can not access it without the IM password. Being an administrator does not allow them access to your IM or your e-mail.

If you have your instant messenger program set to auto login then yes they can access your Friends list, but if you have your messenger set to login by password and user name then i wouldn't worry.

the mistake that people make is that when the pc is set up initially whomever sets all the users up sets them all up as "administrators" so even though you accountis pasword protcted, all the other users by default probably have been set up as administrators.
you can prove this by going to
start
control panel
user accounts
youll see al the accounts, they will be labeled as administrator
password protected, guest account, limited account
ANYONE who is labelede as an admin can look at your data because they ARE admins

i'm torn. I digital mail whilst i recognize i can not call for countless reasons and likewise whilst the guy i prefer to talk to isn't on. inspite of the undeniable fact that, IM is excellent in view which you get an instant reaction (for this reason the call) and it we could you get to recognize the guy extra useful, in case you do no longer already.

no they cant unless they know your instant messenger password.
if your using yahoo they cant becuase its an independat company and your account is also seperate so yeah
i think thats the right one hehehe
