If you're a bit hard up at present, then try Amazon marketplace, where you can often pick up a quality used book for a few pence plus postage. Try a thrift/charity shop. Try ebay. Try the local library.

However, most sites that offer FREE downloads only have old classic books (whose copyright has expired) and nothing very new! How do you think authors would make money if there was a site that gave their work away for free?
