Both. It just depends on your personality, your lifestyle, and whichever one you like better.

I'm not really a cat person, but if you really want a pet but don't have the time to train a dog a cat may be a good option.
If you do have the time for training, a dog is a wonderful, loving addition to your family. There are several sports, competitions, and activities you can get involved with with a dog. They will love you just for spending any kind of time with them.
Do your research carefully and based on your lifestlye so that another unwanted animal is not in need of a home.

Dog by far, cats sit down and sleep all day, they also love to scratch everything up and rip things to pieces. Dogs are easy to train unlike cats that don't even pay attention to you. Also, dogs are lovable and cuddly and they are happy when you get home from work/school. Unlike cats which you can't find half the time and they try to escape everytime you open the door. If you keep dogs in a fenced in area, they will find something to do and not ruin the house, unlike cats which can jump out and ruin everything. I SAY A DOG!!!

If you don't have a lot of time for a pet, cats are better, there not as dependent as dogs. Dogs need to be cleaned, walked, let out side to do there business. Cats only need affection and to clean there litter box now and again. So cats

It depends on the life style and age of the owner. Right now I live in a Senior high rise and I have a cat I've had both cats and dogs all of my life and I love them both, but a cat is easier for me in this apt. I'd have trouble taking a dog out for walks it can snow where I live and walking a dog on ice when you can hardly walk yourself can be a chore. So for me it is a cat. My cat Mi9a is very social and friendly to every one and she loves to play so don't listen to everyone because some people who don't know cats don't know how lovable and friendly they can be!

I have both. Cats are independent need little maintance where dogs need alot more maintance. Example: when u go on a week long trip dogs need to be either be boarded or have someone watch and tend to their needs. While cats can have a food feeder, water feeder and as long as u clean the litter is cleaned before u leave u can leave the cats to be on their own for that week..
Dogs need to be taken out to do their doodie and their feeding has to be done.
The dogs and cats will lack your human contact as a owner of both I find my cats are much easier to take care and they are cleaner...

Dogs are dependent, generally more affectionate, and require more work to fit in the human pack. Cats are more independent and are not as geared to training for tricks and such. Both require consistency, training, and time to get the pet you enjoy. It's a commitment and most troublesome cats and dogs are due to lack of training from their owners. You get the pet you deserve. Have a nice day.

I like both equally. A cat is more cudly and definitly easy to potty train but ive never really had a cat too long. And dogs are loyal but not easy to potty train and my dog has been around than all of the cats ive had.

cats nap a lot but so what wouldnt u if u could? Cats & dogs have diff personalitites & characters JUST LIKE humans! I luv them all. ALSO, obvioulsy u gona like only one type ONLY if u had good experience with one and not the other. I believe that even tho they're diff they're the same. & its true:) Example My cat is very playful but so what theres dogs that can be playful too. Like i said i luv them all & dont understand how can humans compare them & say they hate this but luv the other-CAts & dogs etc..are just loving furrballs that need good homes!!!
