I need to know if it is okay to wear spandex without anything over them in public, just to run errands or soemthing.

EWW!! Please don't ever do that!! Wear a skirt! Or you could wear a long dressy shirt with a belt and ballet flat!! Hope it helps1!

It is,.. but make sure they are not too small/tight.
The problem people have that other people obsess over because they are perverts are the so called " Camel Toe". That being the female gentilia shape pushing out of your pants in 3D.
This can also be a sign you are NOT WEARING UNDERWEAR.
So check yourself in the mirror (if you can). And if this problem does not inflict you, go out and ignore anyone that says anything because some people are under the belief this happens constantly to everyone with certain pants,.. even though it does not (odds are it happens with them so they pick on others to feel better).

There is such thing as "appropriateness." I have seen people in spandex at stores, and it really is a bad reflection on themselves. If you don't want to look in-appropriate, foolish, and appear not knowing any better, I'd suggest you cover up a bit.
Oh, by the way, there is no laws against it, and if you don't care what others think of you, then go right ahead.

It's perfectly fine to wear spandex or leggings in public. Just accessorize with a long tunic or sweater. If you want to dress it up a bit, add a belt. I see nothing wrong with this, unless you are unusually overweight with a heavy bottom. Plus size women generally don't pull this off too well.

As long as it's not too short, there's not really anything wrong with wearing a skirt alone to school. I think it's ok, because you're going to be inside anyways and it's super cute and you like it. I mean, I think it's fine as long as you don't go all-out summer in a tank top and sandals.

Leggins without a skirt or shorts look bad if yur not wearing a nice long shirt over it. V cut necks look really good with a thick belt.
I suggest baggy sweaters, with v necks, big thick belt, leggings and either ballet look alike shoes or uggs look alike.
Have fun matching all kinds of colours ;)

It depends on how you are shaped. Spandex and leggings show every hump bump and lump so if you have them thats when people usually were a cover, shirt, skirt etc.

Well, unless you going to the circus afterwards to perform some high-wire acts! Do not be ridiculous....read the reaction (answer)from "Fantastic" and that is what people will think. You need to wear them with a long shirt, sweater or skirt, for God's sake, girl!

i don't think you should go out with just the leggings/spandex alone. if you have tall boots or legwarmers it would be alright. but make sure that you wear a long top that covers the top of you hips.

no. why would you do that? even to just run errands. if your not going to wear anything over your spandex then wear sweats.

I guess there isn't a law agianst it...but there should be. I wouldnt risk running into someone I know with horrible spandex leggings. Its definitely a no..
