Ok, I understand that the Wii comes with composite cables in the package but I also heard that those graphics are not so good.

On December 18th, they will be selling component and s-video cables for the Wii to make the images come better on your TV. I have a non HDTV. It's a flatscreen 32" sony. I just wanted to know which cables would work better with my TV, component or s-video. Yes, I do have the red, green, and blue ports on the back.

Thanks.

I would say yes, without having actually testing it though I would not be sure. a TVs normal resolution I believe is 640 by 480. Now the current input is 480i, meaning its interlaced and kinda blurs your lines together a little bit more. the component cables will give you the ablity to display in 480p. The difference is quite noticeable.
