I don't get it. Most of the time you look worse than what you did before. I don't get why anyone would actually want to look plastic/fake. Being happy within yourself, having confidence, intelligence can make anyone attractive.
But I think people do it to conform to societies perception of beauty. They feel they are lacking something every time they look at these digitally altered "beauties" (completely unrealistic) in a fashion magazine. Everything the media feeds you is an illusion.
Unfortunately, people treat you based off of how you look. If you look more appealing you get treated better. We're living in a superficial world these days.

i do no longer think of they seem appropriate; i think of they seem bland! If cosmetic surgical operation replaced into discomfort-loose and entirely risk-free, i might have a tummy tuck, because it quite is by no potential been an analogous because of the fact that I had my daughter. yet even then, i do no longer think of i could be satisfied to spend that lots money on some thing so shallow.

Insecurity. Its their way of telling God that they don't approve of his creation. What a dangerous road to take. Being some BEAUTIFUL REBUILD fresh out of the body shop don't mean sh**! It's whats under the hood that makes the car ROAR!!!!
Leave well enough alone, and maintain that engine and transmission!

1. Because we are living longer and are active for much longer and want to preserve what we can.
2. Because risk during these procedures has decreased.
3. Because techniques have advanced greatly in recent years.
3. Because many of us have more expendable income that allow us to embark on these types of expenses.

Low self esteem, insecurity, feeling pressure to conform to society's ideals, sometimes just plain vanity and the fact that people have more spare cash. HTH : )

because in todays world it seems like you can't be yourself, if you're not thin and pretty you are treated like dirt. it's wrong but if you really like yourself and are a good person, then who cares right?
