Have you been sad for a while or is this something sudden?
If you've been sad for a while, consider talking to a psychiatrist. No, not for analysis but for some medication that will help the brain regulate it's natural tranmitter mix back to normal levels. The brain is like every other organ in that it tends to accommodate new trends, especially if they're long term. If you've had a run of bad luck that's made you sad for a long time, your brain has figured on its own that maybe this is the way it's supposed to be. You'll have to get medication to help you elevate the brain's neurotransmitter mix to a level where you can be happy again. These are not happy pills. They merely allow you to make yourself happy and have the brain memorize that status as the normal one instead of the sad state.
If it's sudden, it could be the fleeting phenomenon known as seasonal affective disorder where something about this time of year makes you sad. Lack of sunshine, cold weather, seeing your in-laws again, whatever. This is temporary and, depending on its severity, you could choose to have it treated or not.
Keep looking up and remember that tomorrow is another day.

It's not normal to be sad about everything. Yes, there's plenty to be sad about in this world, but there's also plenty to rejoice in. Get professional help. Tell your doctor how you feel. He or she can prescribe something for you that will help. You're not bad or weak if you seek help. It's very hard to go it alone.

i know this feeling; try to figure out how u can turn your life around, start a journal to record your emotions. Seeing them written down on paper can make u relize what to truely be upset about, surround yourself with people that care. Even if u think no one cares people really do.
