how do i get a live satellite image of my home ?

You can't get "live" images without assistance from the CIA or the military, and then they would have to kill you. :>)
For a free, fairly recent, and far less lethal satalite image of your home go to:

Download and install Google Earth. Link for download provided below. [Please note that the minimum of 400 MB free space is a must. You will need to keep 500 MB free space to work with this.] Select the country that you live in and zoom in. Select the city that you live in and zoom in expand. Select the road where you live, and zoom in or expand. Now select your house from the location that you know it's on and voila, you've got your very own satellite picture of your home! Hi. Join the military. If you want an archived shot, use Google Earth or Windows Live or similar.

try google map or google earth. those r pretty good. i think mapquest also has this feature.

go to www.google.com click maps, search your city, set it on hybrid and zoom in on your house :)
