The answer is Brasilia, which replaced Rio de Janiero in the 1960's.

I'm not Brazilian but I'd like to live there. But the capital is now Brasilia but used to be Rio De Janiero.

Brasilia was founded in the interior for purpose of being Brazil's capital. Before that the capital was on the coast (Rio I think.)
