A mild bleach compound works wonders on all these kinds of situations. Try looking it up on the internet, I think typically 1/4 cup of javex to a litre of water does it. Works best if you put it in a spray bottle.

There's a product called 'Nature's Miracle' you can buy it at the pet store. It will actually 'eat' the mold, and neutralize it. It may take several treatments, but it's a safe way to treat both the carpet, and the people having to be in the vehicle.
An added bonus, it actually makes the car smell clean.

Get a soft scub brush and a pan of warm soapy water. Scrub the area thoughly to remove all the mold. When finished use a thick towel and dry the floor as best you can. It's real improtant to get the floor dry, it may take a few towels.

rip out all the carpeting....for it will keep coming back
