K im really good a football right and at my skool they only have a guys foot ball team...but im really good im better then some of the guys on the team...im not emaning to be cocky ive just been told and they wont let me play..thats so not fair! they say im not heavy enough to play that ill break a bone or sumthing UGH! if i do its my problem....wat should i do about it?

Hi. Yeah, I can totally relate because it is now mandatory for girls to wear skirts at speech ternaments. (sexist monkies) anyways, try speaking to somone of higher authority like your principle and whatnot. If that doesn't work, get a bunch of your peers to sign a petition. The more people you get behind you, the more powerful your stance becomes. Try asking your neighbors and people of all ages, gender, etc. to sign as well. Don't underestimate your power.

I fully believe that there should be equal opportunity in sports. That said, there are gender specific teams for a reason.
If a girl was allowed to play for my fromer High School's football team, for instance, I'd assume it wouldn't be a problem for a boy to play for the girl's rugby team.
If genders mix within the gender specific school sports teams, it's only fair and equal if it goes both ways.

Just ask the principal if you can make a girls football team for other girls who also want to play.

According to the law (Title IX) you have to be allowed to try out for the team. Title IX says girls have to have equal opportunity in school sports.

tell them 2 stop thanking of others and thank about themselves. sum of the guyz on the football team r smaller then me and im a size 0 so i really small. @ my scool only boyz cn play 2!! discrimination!!!!!

i wish i could play football in my high school too. i used to play with the boys in elementary school, and i liked it. but they won't let me. they really should have a girl's and boy's team in schools.
