Yes, it's incredibly easy to use. Those that said otherwise were probably playing the Wii sports package, which is more of a demonstration of the capabilitys of the actuall technology rather than the most efficent uses.

I dropped the 250 and belive it to be worth it. I've played Zelda for a few hours and have really liked the feel of the controler. No more scrunching up hunched over a controler, I can sit on the couch with my hands resting at my sides and I can stand there with my arms hanging limp. I found it really, really comfortable almost to the point you forget you're holding a controller. The Wii's release has been much more sucessful than the GameCube, so the developers will be there to make the games.

Anyone comparing this launch to the GameCubes doesn't know anything about the market. There will be a Wii in nearly four million homes within the first month and a half. The GameCube didn't pull numbers that were anywhere near that.

I think it's a really good Christmas present sort of thing, in that it's not rediculously expensive and will be something for the whole family. It is being marketed for all ages, but I don't think that will really pan out in the American market so much. I think little kids will be able to have fun with it and older adults that haven't previously been gamers, but I wouldn't look for much exposure for those past Fifty years old. Which is a lot broader than the 15-30 the PS3 and 360 are targeting.

Dude It is A.W.E.S.O.M.E. My COUSIN HAS IT AND I PLAYED IT.
It has sensors so you can actually play the game like in wii sports you play tennis like if it were real look this are the stats i give to the wii
graphics 3/5 stars
game play 5/5
games released 4/5 are awesome
The only bad thing is i cant find it anywhere!
But it is cool and yes all ages qualify Nintendo most of the time release good games for kids and teens like Mario and Zelda.
it is also very original. The sensors work fine if they dont work go back to the store and ask for a new one.

It is like the Gamecube, but it has more online stuff similar to Xbox Marketplace. The controller is pretty nifty, but if that catches on the other consoles will have them soon enough. Is it worth $250? Probably not. Depends on what you want out of your game system.

It is NOT next gen. It will not give you anything close to the graphics of the Xbox 360 or PS3.

The wii is not worth the price....it has no colors like the ps3......the wireless controllers suck.....they dont sense anything very good....it is kinda ugly too.....it is a little hard to use...if u want to give a good x-mas gift...give a xbox-360, a psp, a ps3 (if u got the cash....ebay), or a ds (ds's arent very good though)
