A human being can be described in terms of a cell. Skin is the cell membrane, restricting what goes in and out of the cell. Any of the body's openings can be considered a pore or channel, which allows things to enter or exit the body with discretion. The brain being the nucleus. The various organs represent the organelles in a cell, as each of them carries a funtion important to the body. The bones are similar to the cytoskeletal structures, providing structural integrity and act as an anchor for muscular movement. On a gross scale, the human body basicly is a giant cell.
