Drain hot water heater.
Bleed all pipes of water.
Flush toilets.
Add a little antifreeze( kind used in campers & boats) to all drains,toilet tank & bowl.
Turn off mains cir bkr.
Turn off gas at main
Raise screens.
Clean gutters.
Lock windows & doors.
Go home.

You must be from Northern Minnesota. You need lots of insulation. Menards has some like silver blankets that you can put in the attic and it is supposed to direct the heat back down. You can always blow in another layer in the attic too. Mendards even lets you use the machine to blow it in. Double and triple pane windows help too. Also siding and house wrap. I went to college in Bemidji, I know what cold winters are like.
