that's so sweet! either this guy is a very, very good friend, or he wants to be more than just friends. I think it might be his way of telling you that he likes you for more than just a friend! I think you should ask him!

either he has liked you for a long time, and had to get the courage up to tell you, and couldnt do it face to face and figured a poem could say it better, or he could be a guy that likes to conquer the " friendly" or he could be a lovesick whipped puppy. or a psycho.
