Buy a Wii or a new ladtop computer? How much dose each cost? I want to buy ethier one and I'd like to see what others say before I get one.

Well. A laptop is infinitely more practical and useful. But if you are going for games you would have to spend around three times as much as a wii for a good gaming laptop and the mouse pad doesn't blend well with games. On the other hand there are definitely more games for a laptop because most of the games worth getting for wii don't come out until march or july. like metroid prime three, mario party, super mario galaxy, and super smash bros brawl. (A wii is $250, where did the 800 come from!?)

i would buy the wii. the wii is $250 at most stores. getting a wii will be very hard unless you back order or order from the internet or reserve one from an electronics store. a good laptop can be anywhere from $800-$3000. if you are a gamer, get an alienware laptop. if you are into just the basic type, get a dell laptop. dell is the best for its price. around $700 for a decent one. my estimates are with out upgrades that may make your laptop better. you will get a laptop with pretty good performance if you get a laptop for around $400-$500. i would just get one used because it is usually barely used and like $200 cheaper. hope this helps.

I'd rather have a new laptop. I love games and I love nintendo but there will be a new system coming along soon enough so then the Wii will be out dated.

wii alone without games or anything costs about 250. good luck getting your hands on one, too. laptop can be anywhere from 200-over 1000. but i'd rather get a laptop because you will use it your whole life

i would rather buy a wii beacuse i allready hav a laptop but i think a wii costs $800 and a new laptop can cost from $500 up to like idk 9 or 10 thousand dollars

Well they are both more cheap than the XBOX 360 and PS3 which I really want... But it depends on which one you think you'll use the most... If you really love playing games pick the Nitendo Wii... because they have some really good games

If you want a gaming system, try a desktop instead of a laptop--just a hint.
