I would really like to be able to chat with other mothers about questions and concerns that I have, being a new mother and all. My baby is 7 weeks old now but was 10 weeks early and weighed 3 pounds. I would love to have any suggestions about groups that would be great to join. Thank you:)

Yahoo has some mother's group for preemies. You might also try doing a google search on mother support groups.

I would join a new moms group....alot of times they are made available through the hospital that your baby was born at. I joined the moms group back when I had my daughter and it was a lifesaver! I still see alot of the moms quite often and the kids all know eachother so they have some playmates. I would say that they are more helpful than computer chat groups just because you are physically seeing the moms and the babies and building up a social network with people you actually know and such. The one that I was in - all the kiddies were born in the same month or 2 months...so they're basically going through similar stages at about the same time. I loved my moms group. Best of luck to you!
