Hi Rubie: I think that is a very sweet gift. By all means give him a stuffed toy. Any gift you give with your heart should be welcomed to him.

It's typically not the gift that anyone, even kids, dream of....
...unless you've got it sitting in a car and you give him the keys...or sitting inside the doorway of a house you just bought him...or have the toy listening to an mp3 player or playing a PS3 or (use your imagination)...that would be kewl...

i tell you what...this is rediculous...some of the answers you're getting...
a stuffed animal is ok...but i would get more for christmas...think of a stuffed animal like roses and a bottle of wine...one of those "everyday sweet stuff" gifts...but i wouldn't shower him with a ton of stuffed animals...just one is fine...make sure it's not a 7-11 stuffed animal...ever heard of "build-a-bear" workshop...??...that's where i would like one from...just one though...usually at the beginning-middle of the relationship...after that a case of beer will suffice...
buy him a stuffed animal and a tool set...(make sure you find out what he needs first...and buy craftsman)...he shouldn't be totally turned off by a stuffed animal though, that's for sure...

well if hes into that kind of thing then yeah but most guys arent try getting him something he'll use often so he can think of you everytime he uses it try an mp3 player with a love song already in it or if you guys are really serious and if you have the money get him a cell phone with your picture as the screensaver
