I would meet Abraham Lincoln. I am a student of History, but not an American. He is the most fascinating President the US has ever had. I have enjoyed everything I have read about him, mostly his peaceful, patient personality. I think he would be a most illuminating person to meet and talk with.

Benjamin Franklin; I have a lifelong admiration for his accomplishments. Actually, I would like to hear what any of the Founding Fathers would say about the evolution of the institutions they started & the current dilemmas we face on the domestic front, in particular.
