I am currently taking an ap physics course at my high school. I am told that if I drop a course it will result in an F for the rest of the school year. Does anyone know if this applys to ap courses, and if so will dropping that class effect my gpa??? HELP

It would depend on your school. You should talk to the teacher or a counselor. If you recieve an F, then it will affect your GPA

depending on your states graduation requirement, you need so many of sertion class to graduate.

Yes the F wil Hurt you GPA, lowering it quite abit. droping your ap class here would give you your 1 st quarter grade and if you could transfer into a non ap class the grade from the other 3 quarters,

we need
4 years of
english
math
science
social studies
1 year
fine art
gym/health
3 years of anything to fit your major

so if you drop an ap class here you would have to make it up, because the only ap classes here are in the 4 year group of classes

Usually dropping a course results in an incomplete. However, with your school, it may be an F.

I'd suggest you continue taking the class.
