i broke off a 3 year old relationship just 3 months ago because i was afraid of getting married!she was a wonderful girl,good family,educated,good looking,understanding.but my fear of marridge just drives me away.

I would say that she was not the right girl for you. When you are with the right person you no longer fear the commitment.

Fear of lifelong commitment is no unusual. You're not alone, at all.
Did your parents have a good marriage? or no? Did someone close to you have a negative experience being married?
I think a lot of the time we're a product of what we see in people closest to us. If we're surrounding by broken marriages and failed relationships, we fear our relationship will turn out the same, regardless of how strongly we feel for our significant other.
Sometimes we need to sit back and address that fear, and the cause for it. If we don't we often do something we will regret.

Call her and tell her that you love her, but you just arent ready to get married. She might be feeling the same way.

that's why there is marriage counselling....and normally some ppl take it before they get marriage to adapt to this kind of life.
