My mom was 20 when she had her first child, still fairly young. But a friend of mine was born to a 15 year old mother, the result of a rape. My friend is now 24 and her mother is only just now looking at her 40th birthday. My mom's been 50 for a while now. It's kinda weird because her mom is young enough to be her friend in a way.... you know, still kinda being a young adult. Actually there is the same difference in age between her and her mother as there is between me and my boyfriend. That seems kind of weird but it's not so uncommon around here.

My mom was 22 when she had me. I was 16 when I had my first daughter. My daughter was 17 when she had her daughter and my grandaughter had her boy when she was 17. So that made me a very young greatgramma.
I don't recommend having children that early. A girl should have her teenage years to be a teenager. The kids can come along later when she is truly ready to settle down.

Nope, She was 30, She was a teen when she had her 1st born though. Im the 4th out of 7 of us.

Well my step brothers sister was born when her mother was 14 and my step brother was born when this same women was 18.
