im only 20 so my answer might not mean much but i think its got to do with love(hate sayin that word), becuase just before u die u realise the important things to u in life. Money, cars, all that stuff dont matter becuase you wont be having it when u move on, only thing that suppose to matter to you would be family and friends.
When people sell their souls for riches, they cant die in peace because they have noone to be there for them.

Well, I just say that the meaning of life is whatever you want it to be. I mean, your life path is only controlled by you. You are the only person to determine what lies ahead of you. If you feel that the meaning of life is money, then pursue a life of high education, and high paying jobs. But if feel that the meaning of life is to start a family, and raise loving kids, then stay close to people you love, don't dishonor them, and stay closer to your enemies than your friends, ( trust me on this, I have a huge crush on this guy who I used to hate) (I'm only thirteen).... But I already have my life plans out in front of me. I personally think that the meaning of life to me, is to make a difference in at least 1 person who is a complete stranger. I also think that you always should do at least one good deed a day.-- Now, I am not a little goodie two shoes, but I do believe that .

The meaning of life is finding happiness. Love,children. It's not about money. It's about how you feel and what you feel. What you want out of life. It's different for each person. You just have to find what makes you happy.

I like your idea of love. I definitely think it has to do with love. Loving other people, loving God, not being materialistic, finding what your good at and some things you aren't that great at and getting better at them until you are good at them, leading the life God planned for you.

Ya it's definately 42. But really, it is to pass on your genes. That is how evolution works. The single thing that we are designed to do is to provide a way for our genes (well at least half of them) to be propgated to another generation.

I am not saying I know it..but..
make sure you help others out when ever you can..always help some one...
be nice smile be generous with yourself. even if you can't give money give of yourself...that is important.
respect others, especially family and your elders.
bring nice children into the world and educate them..( you educate them as well as the school systems)
love your family and your neighbors, and yourself..
and teach your children these things to be kind, helpful generous, and have them repeat it all with their children, teach them to be happy with what they receive out of live and pass it on to their children..
and when you are ready to pass yourself, smile at all your family and friends and say, thank you for being there for me and I know I am thankful for having you all..
