Ap class credits are counted towards the college you choose, almost all major colleges do accept them. But its all about whether you pass the AP exam (3 or better out of 5, although most want a 4/5 or 5/5). It still looks good to take ap classes and the colleges wil lonly know your score if you try to get credit for it if you apply for exemption, Calculus is a hard class and its quite impressive that you are taking that class. Good Luck to Ya.

Definitely it's the exam grade, not the course grade that matters.

Some colleges let you bypass certain courses because of your performance on high school AP exams, but you still need to take the same number of courses/have the same number of credits a everyone else to graduate.

Other colleges literally let you count the AP courses you took as credit toward your degree. You must find out the policy of the school(s) you're interested in to know for sure how it would be handled.

you have to pass the AP tests for English and/or calculus to get college credit.

I know for English many colleges accept a score of 3 or higher for the English AP test. not too sure about the calculus.
It usually takes care of the two composition English courses (eng 1310 and 1320 for my college)

check with the college websites of the universities you are looking into to see what grade the will take, and you usually get three hours of college credit if you pass.

Your average will be unaffected by your AP test grade, however, you will not get college credit if you do not score well.

Taking AP courses is impressive and colleges will view that decision as a strength. It would be a good choice.

English AP stands for basic entry english classes. You have two choices of AP classes for english, each one tests you out of a simester of english in college.

AP Calc takes place of Calc I in college.

Going to the collegeboard.com website and your college of choice would give you more information than that.
