I had a c-section a while ago and there's still a lot of weight to lose. In the meantime, it's been far too long to still wear maternity... (no way I'm shopping in a mat store when I'm not pregnant, just fat) Any normal pants I could wear would either rest under the fat, creating a bulge out the front-- and worse, out the sides. That, or they sit higher (like belly button) and press in the middle creating twice the bulges. So far all I can think is those fold over gaucho pants that actually cover the whole stomach (no bulges!!!!!) But now its cold out, hard to find those in pants (rather than cupris) and those I did find are thin and freezing... surely I'm not the only one who's ever dealt with this! Help!!!

Xani is correct. Even number sizes fit women who are heavier, full figured or who have had babies much better then the Jr. (odd number sizes).
My last child was a C-section and I recall not being able to wear pants for several weeks. When I did, I just wore sweat pants.
I made it a point to drop my weight fast before the winter hit hard.
"Lee" makes good "sits high on the waist" jeans and slacks. They helped me hide the baby bulge and keep me tucked in while I got back into shape.
Try not to get too rapped up in the way you look for a while, everybody knows it takes time, especially after major surgery and now having a new baby to look after. "ME TIME" becomes a premium if you find any at all.

Go to a good Women's store/department, and ask a sales associate to help you find pants that will fit you right. If you are wearing the right size, you won't have too many bulges. And find some nice shapewear, that will really help to smooth you out, plus it will help support your stomach muscles while they strengthen back up. If you don't want to go to a sales associate, get a tape measure, go to a clothing web site, and see how to measure yourself to find your size, write the measurements down and what the corresponding sizes would be, and go to the store to try the jeans on.

Well, i think that you should wear a big size of sweat pants with streachy waist and loose shirts nothing clingy!! And once you start losing weight start getting into the jeans but if you dont want the bulges showing wear lose shirts always! Good Luck!!!!

you should go to the store and not look in the jr. department.
go to the regular ladies department were the clothes fit differerntly. when you lose your weight go back to the jr. department.
I can tell you said your pants sit low, and the sizes are probly odd number 5 -7 -9 ladies fit the hip differently so that the sizes run 6-8-10

Don't just stand there! Do squats while scrubbing your teeth, calf raises whilst standing in line, or lunges while chatting about the phone.
