its the same principal as pyramid selling. if you are near the top of the chain then yes, but the truth is its been going so long now that it is very unlikely you would ever get enough recommends to ever get anything.

Yes they do work! I would recommend http://ipods.freepay.com/?r=34001492 as one of the best established sites through which many people have received freebies and has been featured on the BBC. You don't have to buy anything like with the pyramid scheme just complete an offer. I would go for the Lovefilm free dvd rental trial as it is a reputable company and you can cancel at any point during the trial and won't be charged (just be sure to post ur dvd's back before the payment date so you don't get charged). Getting friends to sign up is the tricky bit but it is possible with a little effort. Check out http://www.exceem.co.uk for more info on this and tips on getting people to sign up. Good luck!

The ones that make you sign up for offers and get others to sign up works, but the ones that says you get a free iPod doesn't work.
To get the free iPod by signing up for offers isn't really worth it because you have to sign up for something, they send you a sample or trial, and if you don't cancel it, they will charge you for the membership after the free trial period is over. Plus, you have to get a lot of your friends to sign up for the free offers, and the same thing applies to them. If they don't cancel before the trial is over, they get charged. If you don't mind losing some friends over this, then go ahead and try it. All that work and pain isn't worth the price of a free iPod. Better if you just buy the iPod.
