His uncle is suggesting you involve yourself in fraud? Nice family. I wonder what else they'll want you to do when you're legally responsible for him?

All he needs to do is aplly for a passport then that way he can keep it current. Then while here aplly to become a citizen. What if you get married to him and in 6 months he gets a divorce what then. You know what married people do right? Then when he gets a divorce what makes him not look for someone else. You need to realize that if he really love you and wanted to be with you he owuld have asked to marry you, not wait till his uncle tell him he needs to be married. If he really loves you he can apply for a passport then apply for citizenship and make it legal. But taking the shortcut well I leave it at that. SO good luck and hope everything works for you

Well, since your writing us for a answer, I say your not ready. Your scared, and I don't blame you. I don't think this is how you exactly thought getting married would go for you. Getting married is a very important issue, and not to be taken so lightly. You do what your "gut" feeling tells you to do. It's about 99.9 true if you follow the feeling. You weren't put on this earth to be doing people big favors like that, your here to love and most of all, take good care of yourself..If he needs to find someone to marry, he will, he won't have to live with them, but he may have to pay them..

WOAH SAME THING HAPPENED TO MY MOMZ!!!! This African dude wanted to come to the U.S. but he wanted to marry her so he can be legal.. Sadly enough, she turned him down. My advice: Don't marry him, UNLESS you DO really LOVE him. I think he's just usin' you to get in the U.S. But I don't think you should go through with his wishes unless you feel like you WANT to and not NEED to. I would take it lightly.. but eventually breakup if that's what he's after.. Its not for sure that when he marries you that he'll stick with you. Hope this helps. If not, at least I tried. Good luck, girl.

Break up with him!!! It sounds like he's using you!!! You dont want a guy who's gonna use you, do you??? The whole time while you're married, you'll be miserable about how he's only marrying you to become a citizen here in the US.

Marriage is a serious thing whether its for a green card or not. Are they sure its for only 6 months? Anyway, don't wait around for him if he marries someone else.

That seems a bit fishy, maybe he was telling you what his uncle said just to see what you would say.
I would find out exactly what he's talking about & exactly what his intentions are toward you before commiting your self to marrage.
Good Luck.
