There are several things people study in geometry. About half of it (shapes and measurement) is easy for most people. It's mostly common sense and simple arithmetic (things like subtracting from 180). The other half (logic and proof) is much harder for most people. The trick is not to make it harder than it actually is. Most proofs follow the exact same format. Learn what that format is, and use it all the time.

The only way to be successful in geometry is to study it. It requires memorization and reasoning. Don't dismiss geometry because you feel you are not strong in those areas. Believe me, once you start getting the hang of it it starts to make sense and concepts begin to fal into place.

Memorize the basics: types of triangles, polygons, angles, properties of circles. Take it one step at a time. If you try to move ahead without grasping earlier concepts you will be lost. Geometry for Dummies is an excellent book. I have used it myself.

Well, you have to understand that there are people that ARE good at math, and then there are those that AREN'T good at math. Of course, it also depends on the teacher you have. If you have a good teacher, then you will probably find that geometry is easy.

It was hard for me. I enjoyed algebra a lot more. You just have to grasp the concept of figures and shapes, not merely numbers and variables.

But then again, I took geometry in seventh grade. *shrugs* It probably depends on the age.

Geometry is really easy. The only part I hate is "proofs". Other than that it's ok.

For each person it's different.

You either get it or you will get it in 5 years.

I myself rocked at Algebra, Trig, Calc...but not geometry. It seriously took me 10 years to get a solid grasp on it. I'm not a stupid person, geometry just wasn't my thing.

Hard, I was more of a trig/algebra girl and usually people are good at one or the other. Just the preference of your brain.
