It was a European dance song a couple of summers back.
In the Vid there was a young lad in his bedroom and a Home-made model spaceship. While he's playing with the spaceship he jumps into one of the posters on his wall.
I'm sure this will be enough info for someone. It was one of those songs you spent the whole summer humming to.

Bob Sinclar are a french group and i think it's from around the time you're looking for.
in the vid theres a kid and his dog in the bedroom and they build a spaceship and fly out into space to blow up an asteroid with basketballs then fly home and get welcomed by everyone. I think this is the tune you're looking for, but i could be wrong.
Either way it's still a great tune :D

Not enough for ME I'm sorry; can you not offer a lyric or two? I tend to do much better with lyrics...It's not Pet Shop Boys "New York City Boy" though, 'cos I've just watched it for you (link supplied) and the 'boy' plays with his guitar and decks but the only interaction he has with his posters is when Debbie Harry winks at him...
