Me and my boyfriend have picked out many names for our soon to be baby boy and we finally picked one... Grayson William... The way we picked that is my boyfriends uncle was killed in a car wreck on Valentines day and his name was Jason Gray so we put that together and that is how we came up with Grayson... When I tell people the name that we have picked out they tell me that it sounds like a girl name... Does it or is it a good name for our boy?

Grayson William sounds like a great name for your son. It does not sound feminine at all. The name Grayson is unique and will sentimental meaning. I think you should use the name. Good luck.

No it does not sound like a girl's name at all. I love how your changed Jason Gray to Grayson. Unique and I love how that was your bf's late uncle's name (I mean Jason Gray)...shows a lot respect and love to him. I love how Grayson goes so well with William! good job!

Good Luck with your baby boy and Happy holidays to your and your family!! :)

Grayson is a very good name for a boy. I think it might be confusing people because they hear "Grace" at the beginning. If you show the name Grayson to people on paper, they'll view it as masculine like the name Wilson or Mason.

To me it is not feminine. I like both Grayson William and Williamd Grayson. That way when he grows up, he can be called Gray or Wil.

Congratulations to you and good luck!

Also, I'm sorry for your loss. I think that is an awesome tribute.

Its a nice name and at least you know no-one else will share his name. Which some people view as a bad thing but take it from someone who's name is so common (I share it with my sister in law, my uncles fiance, another uncles fiance and my sisters best friend!) Unique is a good thing!
Maybe make the middle name a little smaller though, it just seems a little long!
Also the sentiment behind makes it seem more special, but in the end my opinion doesnt really count, as long as you guys like it and are comfortable with it!

That's a little too strange for me. It's great that the name has meaning, but what man wants the name Grayson? It does sound a lot like Grace. Don't pick a 'cute' name, pick a man's name.

All that really matters is that YOU like it! I think Grayson is a lovely boy's name. I've only heard it on boys, not on girls. The way you picked it is very special, don't let dumb people get you down.

Grayson William is a great, unique but not weird name for a boy. Anyone who thinks it sounds feminine should stop naming their daughters such masculine names.

Forget what others think, if you like it then name the baby Grayson William.
