It has always been a mystery to me how anyone that professes to have any religious beliefs (regardless of what they are) can not believe in earth bound spirits. The very basis of any religion is that there is some existence after this one.
Of coarse little kids see them. They're all around us.

No, kids get lonely when their negected by the parents or talked to by stranger on the street but are too afraid to tell anyone or simply have no friends. That's when imaginary friends come in.

Having said that though there's a lot of unexplained things in our world. If you believe ghosts check the history of the house or you can just assume that the child called out so loud for a friend that he/she invited a ghost into the house!

Yes and perhaps they have found them. I started seeing and talking to my Grandaddy when I was five years old shortly after his death. Later many other dead people begin to speak to me. When I was 16 years old my uncle died in an automobile accident and now he still speaks with me along with many others. You were taught that ghost aren't real. One third of the population never the less believe in ghost. Didn't the Witch of Endor summon Samuel from his grave for King Saul. I'm an Atheist but that should be enough to convince you Christians. Yes we have ghost walking among us and some of us recognize and commune with them. By the by they don't like to be called ghost. Spirits out of respect if you please. God Bless kisses Betty.

Nope! Little kids have wide-open minds to explore the world around them and to let loose their imaginations. I had an imaginary friend named AngelWolf. My mom even made lunch every day for AngelWolf who got a sandwich cut corner to corner like mine and who had her own placemat, napkin, and plate. AngelWolf and I played school and church together with all my dollies and stuffed animals. I never saw a ghost - just AngelWolf.

Yes they are either seeing ghosts or some other spiritual type being. Often children will be friend these beings. I agree that children are much more open to this sort of thing than adults.

When kids say they have an imaginary friend or have one, they make up their own version of an "ideal friend ". A friend that won't decieve them, lie to them, or are just like them. This does not mean they have insecureities it just means they want to have a perfect friend. And if they are seeing ghosts, i have no idea what to say.

I believe they are real. Kids are not inhibited at the young age & they are close to the spirit world as their little heads are not yet filled with their parents beliefs as of yet.

However, I'm sure some kids do make it up just for attention, but not all.

That's a possibility. I've seen them when I was a child. I still hear them, but the connection is not as strong. I do think children are more open to spirituality.

No, I don't think kids with imaginary friends are seeing ghosts. Have you bumped your head again?

Stuff like that is great for movies and stories, but it isn't real - it's just entertainment nonsense - it's fantasy. Get it?
