Do you mean your IP address?

Open up a command prompt and type

ipconfig /all

It will tell you various and sundry details about your network interfaces.

Look for the two computer icon that says Local Area Connection on the lower right hand corner of your screen, right-click on it and click . Click on the tab and look for the IP address. That's the LAN number.

You'll need to be a little more specific on the environment you're in.

If you're using Linux / Unix and are interested in determining the ethernet device number you can use the command: ifconfig

If by "Lan Number" you're referring to the network address, this will also be available under those commands.

Cheers,

Easiest way? Go to your taskbar and find your LAN icon (it's the two computers that have blinking screens). Double click those and click the Support Tab. It's Labeled IP Address: #.#.#.#
