I don't know quite what you mean how to deal with the natives?

There are very few people living in Dubai who are from United Arab Emirates, most are ex-pats. How you should deal with them is the same way you should deal with anyone, with respect.

There are places to go out dancing and drinking, and most are very upmarket, but drink can be expensive, as the country is a Muslim country, and drinking is not the norm. You can however go out and enjoy yourself and have a few drinks, just don't go OTT. Same goes for clothing, when many people are walking around covered from head to toe, you would look very strange walking around scantily clad and people would definitely stare at you or possibly make comments.

Just use common sense and be respectful, girls, cover your shoulders and don't wear short skirts. Don't go topless at the beach and don't get too drunk. Most of all, enjoy it, fantastic weather, great shopping & restaurants, and very friendly people.

Dubai is a fantastic place. If your going out, respect their culture and cover up, wear jeans and t-shirt or long skirt (if female) thats all you have to remember. You will love it, everythings so cheap, i want to go back now...
Theres no real pubs, they are all hotels with bars that you can go in, don't get drunk and rowdy in the streets as Dubai is not really a drinking place. They drive on the opposite side of the road to uk.
Beaches are fab, just mind the jelly fish, also take mosquito spray too
have a fab holiday im so jealous

don't do anything particular. Just mind your own business really and don't make any tactless or politically incorrect comments. I think you should be ok in Dubai though as they must get alot of tourists there and will be used to westerners going there. If you respect them and their culture and do nothing wrong on them there should be no problem. Have a good time.

Remember the Holy Day is Friday, therefore most places are closed on a Friday! Thursday is like our Saturday, Friday like our Sunday, and trade as normal on Saturdays and Sundays.

Tip as if you were in the USA.

You can wear shorts / shorter skirts as a lady just nothing that is too revealing.

Tap water is safe to drink. Not as if you'd drink it, but it's fine for brushing teeth, etc.

Good luck!
