I have a metel bed frame with wheels, but I'm not to fond of the way it looks and would like a wood alternative. I've seen wooden bed frames in pictures, but never in stores. I'm talking about just the basic frame - not a head board or foot board. Just a base to set a mattress on. Something very simple and inexpensive. Here is a link that has a picture of what I'm talking about: http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/shopping/product/alternateviews.jsp?iProductID=25429&edpno=289793&picindex=3

Truth is, I've been a carpenter for almost 36 years, and I haven't found anything like this for less than 10's of thousands of dollars.

that website shows a matt covered with a sheet, not bed frame.

try Goodwill, and any other store that handles old furniture or donated goods.

Why not go to a Lumber store and buy what you want and attach it to the metal frame. If you are not sure how to attach it, just ask at the store.
