What will happen to te people on a thrill ride that has a hill or freefall that is as tall as the Empire State Building?

Assuming you design it so the people don't reach terminal velocity, and you reverse the acceleration safely at the bottom, it just gives you a few more seconds of free fall. Calculate the fall time and compare it to the fall time for a more traditional amusement ride. Not enough difference to be worth implementing.

Its pointless. Only the first 5 or 6 seconds of free fall are exciting. After than you reach terminal velocity, and its just like being in a lift.

its not even possible...
it would cost billions to make and would be way to dangerous..
if it did happen, the people on it would be scared and **** themselves or pass out
