I was diagnosed 3 1/2 yrs ago with endometriosis. A year after being diagnosed, my doctor done laparscopy and removed it. He told me that it porbably wouldn't come back. Well, I have been hurting for the past couple of weeks now and today it has gotten a lot worse. I can hardly stand up straight. It hurts in my lower abdomen and through to my back. what should I do? Do I need to go to the ER?

For serious stomach pain that has been going on for a few weeks, and is now preventing you from standing up... you should go to the ER, or if you can get an immediate appointment with your normal practitioner, that's okay too. But yes, you should go see a doctor now.

Endometriosis can recur, but lower abdominal pain can be caused by a lot of different stuff, in your bowels, kidneys, etcetera. Apart from the benefit of taking care of your problems, the docs can help with your pain. Go on in.

you should call your doctor first. even tho its a sunday they should have someone on call. they can tell you what you should do. if they say not to do anything, and the pain becomes worse or something else happens and your gut feeling tells you to go to the ER then go. good luck to you

YES and not a moment too soon! You could have an infection there, that if not treated, could lead to more serious problems.
