At what time in the pregnancy does the baby usally drop? My girlfriend is 34 weeks pregnant and we went out to eat today and like she will always get the same thing but she can never eat it all because of the less room in her stomach due to the babys size well today she had the same thing plus a little extra and ate every bite and was still hungry she said that it felt like there was more room could this meen he has droped? Thanks

Not always true my baby has dropped and Iam thirty weeks pregnant and he actually dropped when I was 29 weeks so sure she probably knows what shes talking about the baby probably did drop down

They say that the baby usually drops around the last month, but I'm not completely sure im on my first pregnancy (33 weeks) but you should be able to tell by looking at her belly. It should look lower then it did before. But if she was carrying low to begin with you may not even notice. By the way congratulations!!!!

maybe...my son dropped at 31 weeks, and i knew for sure because my belly looked more like a ski slope lol and i immediately got intense back pain and pressure

it will not happen until the 38th week as the baby will only drop when it is ready to be born which is about 38 weeks. they can and do come earlier, but 34 weeks would be a we bit premature. She was just really hungry which can happen in a term. trust me, we had 3 and all were different
