If you took one right after the other than it doesn't surprise me that you got a negative the second time. Your urine didn't have a chance to build the protein back up in it. They say to wait at least 4 hours from the last time you peed to take one. I am glad you are having a blood test done tomorrow. That will give you an answer (hopefully, mine gave me a borderline. Had to wait 2 more days for a yes) Good luck I hope you get what you are hoping for.

Yes it is possible. My friends girlfriend thought she was pregnant, she took a home test and it came out positive, then she went and got a blood test and the blood test said she wasnt.

They say that you will usually only get a false positive if you were recently pregnant and miscarried or you just had a baby. But i would take another just in case and definitely get the blood test

Yes, you may not have waited long enough for your HCG to build back up to have your second test turn positive. A blood test by your Dr. will help. Good Luck!

It is possible to have a false and a negative. What I think happened was: When you took the first test, you emptied your bladder and all of the "pregnancy hormones" came out, you should have waited until the next morning.

It's possible to have a false positive, but, if you followed the directions correctly, it's more likely to have a false negative.
Hope you get the results you want tomorrow.

To be honest it could happen because home tests are not 100% effective. However, they are pretty accurate. If your wanting to be pregnant, I wish you the best of luck.
